Why CCAC? – The Case for Action

CCAC is an initiative to inspire schools to take up year- long environment conservation activities through a whole school approach, in collaboration with local NGOs, Govt agencies, local industries, neighbourhood schools, and parents. It envisions to transform schools into centres of environmental leadership.

School Registration
Registration Deadline: 30th July 2026
Open registration for schools across India. Submit your school's details and get registered.

Programme Kick-off
January 2026 – December 2026
Approved schools begin their environmental action journey. Access resources and connect with your regional coordinator. (Activities undertaken right from January 2026 will be considered)

Monthly Submissions
August – December 2026
Schools submit monthly activity reports, photo documentation, and project updates through the school portal.

Assessment period
January – March 2027
Schools present their completed sustainability projects and community impact stories.

Review & Evaluation
April 2027
National jury evaluates all submissions for impact, creativity, community reach, and documentation quality.

Earth Day Finale & Award Ceremony
April 2027
Grand awards ceremony on Earth Day. Top schools are celebrated at a national event.

The overall championship, the “APR Nair Memorial Award,” will be awarded to the school that achieves the highest aggregate score across all the above awards.
