Cash Awards & certificates:
Each award mentioned below will have two categories — Gold and Silver — with cash prizes of Rs. 10,000/- and Rs. 5,000/- respectively. The overall championship, the APR Nair Memorial Award, will be presented to the school that attains the highest aggregate score across all the above awards. Points will be awarded as follows: 10 points for each Gold medal and 5 points for each Silver medal.
Individual Awards for Students and Teachers
Green Changemaker Award (Students- self nomination)
Presented to students who demonstrate outstanding leadership by initiating and implementing environmental conservation projects—such as awareness campaigns in the communities that they work with, cleanliness drives, tree plantation programmes, or the restoration of water bodies—in their communities or neighbourhoods, in collaboration with local NGOs, parents, or government bodies.
Green Innovation Award (Students- self nomination)
Presented to students who develop the best original ideas, products, technologies, or solutions that address environmental challenges and promote sustainability.
Humanity in Action Award (Students & Teachers- self nomination)
Presented to students and teachers who demonstrate exceptional compassion and social responsibility by leading impactful community initiatives, such as educating underprivileged children, organising leadership or vocational training programmes, coordinating blood donation drives, providing shelter or support to those in need, or undertaking other meaningful service projects that improve lives.
Outstanding CCAC Leadership Award (Teachers)
Presented to the Teacher Coordinator or the Green Leadership Team of the winning school in recognition of outstanding leadership, commitment, and dedication to promoting environmental conservation and successfully implementing CCAC initiatives.
Green Visionary Award (Teachers- self nomination)
Presented to teachers who demonstrate exceptional creativity and visionary leadership by developing innovative ideas and programmes that inspire environmental stewardship and sustainable practices.
CCAC Climate Action Ambassador (Teachers)
Presented to a teacher who has demonstrated exceptional leadership in expanding the reach of the Classroom to Climate Action Crusaders (CCAC) programme by building meaningful partnerships with schools, NGOs, government agencies, and local communities, inspiring collective action for environmental conservation.
Green Family Leadership Award (Parents- self nomination through school)
Presented to the parent or group of parents in recognition of exceptional environmental initiatives conceptualised and led by them that have created a positive and lasting impact in their own communities/ neighbourhood.

Best Upcycling / Recycling Initiative Award
Presented to the school that demonstrates excellence in transforming waste materials into valuable, functional, or creative products while promoting resource conservation, reuse, and recycling.
Green Campus Excellence Award
Presented to the school that has significantly enhanced environmental sustainability through campus-wide initiatives, policies, infrastructure, and best practices.
Community Partnership Award
Presented to the school that has established and sustained maximum impactful collaborations with external stakeholders, including NGOs, local government bodies, businesses, and community organisations, to advance environmental conservation and community well-being.
Clean Earth Award
Presented to the school that has most successfully led initiatives to create and maintain a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment within and around the school community.
Water Guardian Award
Presented to the school that has inspired the greatest number of individuals or communities to adopt water conservation practices and promote the sustainable use of water resources.
Biodiversity Excellence AwardPresented to the school that has made an outstanding contribution to biodiversity conservation by planting and nurturing the largest number of indigenous trees and plants while implementing long-term sustainability measures.
